This is my funny fact post about Home Design and the Earth Signs (Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo) and Water Signs (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio). Please enjoy!

Taurus is the perfect family guy/girl. Taurus likes wood and his furniture is the best you can find. He likes a good old traditional table where friends can gather. He will also spend his money on the best things he can buy and takes care of every corner of the house.

Virgos are Earth Signs and they are usually very practical. They like Feng Shui and they will assure themselves that everything in their home is maintaining positive energy. They are also a little obsessed with everything being clean and tidy, so they usually hire somebody to do that. Virgo likes order and tradition; you will feel so good in their homes.

Capricorn has a thing about great views. He loves to live at the top floor and see the city from up there. He loves light, so his windows will have a special place in his home. An earth sign, Capricorns are traditional and like wood and high quality furniture. He also chooses a good painting in his home that he is probably very proud of.  

Cancer people are water signs, they like traditional, they love to come back home and find the best place on earth. They also enjoy having books around, a fine and cozy armchair, good music perhaps. They need a little bit of tradition and very good taste combined. They are messy sometimes, but they love to cuddle in their place.

Pisces is the water sign that likes his house comfortable, cozy, neat and intimate. Pisces are perfectionist that chooses everything in their house. That is why you will find the best oriental carpet in town and one high quality sofa. Pisces can put them all together and create the best environment for family life. They love to have friends over and their place is comfy and soft. A great place to live in!

Scorpio is a water sign and passion and drama are the first words I can think of with him. Scorpio is brutal and sexy, dark and cruel; his home is a great work of art that has the above traits. His favorite place in the house is the bedroom as they are sensual and adore sex. They will buy the best bed lingerie for them and their loved one; best flowers and curtains.

I have decided to write a funny fact post: it’s about the zodiac sign and its home. I chose some pictures I liked and linked them with traits of each zodiac sign. Please consider them amusing and playful. Enjoy!

Aries, the fire sign is very quick and likes to do everything fast. His living room is minimalist and he likes to have a fire nearby. He likes to combine simple colors like red and transparent. They usually end up sleeping in the living room as there is not time for them to rest in the bedroom. They always get up fresh and start new.

Leo is the king; never underestimate one… because soon they will invite you in their homes. The home of a Leo is a luxury one; the kind of home where you just stare at the furniture, paintings, windows. Everything is perfectly built together by the artistic mind of the Leo. He adores his home. He takes pride in it and the bed, the music… everything is royal. 

Sagittarius is the fire sign that loves to travel. You can see this very easy if you visit their homes. They have souvenirs all over the place, a big map somewhere and a plane ticket on the table in the living room. They always prepare their next trip, so their home is rather minimalist. 

Gemini are kids, they are naughty and nice. They need a playground and what better place than home? They have toys all around and they enjoy the little mess around them. They are happy creatures that enjoy blue, transparent, great light and did I mention…toys?

Libra is an Air Sign and as all Air Sign … creativity is on its way. Libra can’t easily decide if she likes the yellow or the blue painting, so Libra creates one with them combined. Libra is the artist of the zodiac, so the place will look a little bit odd for most people; but I can assure you it is adorable.

Aquarius is the Air Sign that loves order and this is very unusual for the air signs. Aquarius loves books and he spends his time organizing them. You will find books on the floor, books on the ceiling, books on the table, in the bathroom; you can step on them or just slip on them. They are fond of reading and they will read just about anywhere in the room.

Eclipse on 13th of November for Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces

As seen from the Earth, a solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Sun and Earth, and the Moon fully or partially blocks the Sun. This can happen only at new moon, when the Sun and the Moon are in conjunction as seen from Earth. In a total eclipse, the disk of the Sun is fully obscured by the Moon. We had one on the 13^th of November 2012.This eclipse will affect 6 months from now. Please read below about: Capricorn,Aquarius, Pisces. Capricorn

– the solar eclipse from the 13^th of November falls in the sign of the Scorpio and into your house of friendships and hopes and wishes (as opposed to conscious personal goals). The hopes and wishes are more in the nature of fond desires that are shared and enjoyed in the company of others. Also great events are in the spot light now. Eclipses mark new beginnings, new ways, and new circumstances. This one is a friendly one and it will mark a start in your life. This start has to do with lots of new friends, circles, opportunities that come from friends, associations and networking. Eclipses tend to shake things up and turn the world as we know it upside down. You may let go of some friendships, but don’t make hasty decision – remember Mercury is still retrograde till the 26^th of November. You must add and start new friendships in the months to come. Try to join an association of some sort (depends on your hobbies or profession). This eclipse will transform your social life in the years to come and that is very good!

Aquarius

– for us it’s all about career; we have Saturn in the tenth house and the first eclipse that will generate change also here. I say we because I, myself, am a true and proud Aquarius. Let’s take things slowly: solar eclipses are about news, beginnings, changes of affairs, shift of circumstances and they all happen in our career sector. This is the most important career aspect that will happen in many months and it is major! The eclipse will bring opportunity, new ways, new job, new position and new responsibilities. Pluto is there as the eclipse happens in Scorpio, so use your charm, style with this great aspect. Please note that this is about to influence 6 months from now. What will happen now has the great help of Saturn and that means we will be in for a long time, as Saturn brings stability, maturity and longevity. Saturn, as I said, just entered your same tenth house of fame last month and will begin to teach you how to take on more responsibility. Saturn will request for dedication. This is a terrific opportunity to make a name for yourself!

Pisces

– finally my dear Pisces let’s talk business! The eclipse that I want to speak about here is in Scorpio and for you that means big horizons, adventure, foreign travel and learning. Eclipses mark new beginnings, new ways, and new circumstances. This one has no hard aspects and it will help you a lot in your wishes. It’s about learning, dear Pisces. You may want to learn to do something new; you may want to go back to school or just find a new way of doing something that you love. Your thinking will expand, and your whole world will become better, not only now but also in the months to come. Please note that this is going to happen 6 months from now. You will start to feel a shift in the way you look at things, you will now think in bigger terms. You may travel abroad; have a great experience that has a learning consequence. You may have very good fortune if you are working in publishing, broadcasting or marketing. You will win public over with this new change. It will be up to you to make the most of all the new things and all the shifting circumstances that come up.

Eclipse on 13th of November for Libra,Scorpio,Sagittarius

A total eclipse of the Sun is nature's most spectacular and inspiring phenomenon. We have one on the 13th of November 2012 that will affect 6 months from now astrologically speaking. There will be 18 solar eclipses from 1996-2020 for which the eclipse will be total on some part of the Earth's surface. Please read below about: Libra,Scorpio, Sagittarius . Libra

– the Solar Total Eclipse from the 13th of November is all about new things and changes and for you, dear Libra is about money! Earned income, salary, circumstance change and you will somehow earn more money. You have here the taskmaster, Saturn that will teach you all there is about making and earning more money. You are a powerful Air Sign and the fact is you usually do not care so much about earnings, well this time is different! You will care about your income more and more and find creative ways to make money. It’s your value in stake here and we all know that your sign is one that appreciates value. This eclipse will bring you an exceptional opportunity to find more income and lower your financial stress. Fight to make this eclipse, that stands beautiful in the sky, by seeking for a raise or negotiating a new salary for a new position in another company. If you are self-employed (it’s a very good aspect for Libra) you may be able to find some new ways to make money or bring a new client! Just try to escape your comfort zone and change your life for the future. As I said, this is an eclipse that will impact 6 months for now and has a great force in the future (2 years time). 

Scorpio

– the Solar Total Eclipse from the 13th of November is all about you, as it falls in your sign. Dear Scorpio, it’s your time of the year and you will have lots of opportunities and be sure to make the best of it. It’s your high time now! The Solar Eclipse is all about new beginnings, about new circumstances, new changes in the environment next to us. Cancer

– dear Cancer, here come happiness, romance and probably children! A solar eclipse opens new ways, new paths and comes with news and this time: very good news. Prepare yourself for news about children, creative projects and romance. Finding the love of your life is on the way and it can happen now or till the next solar eclipse in June 2013. Have an open heart, dear Cancer because things are going your way. It’s what you love about life: children, a big love and creativity and romance! I hope this is good news because if you are in an established relationship, you may get news that you have conceived a baby. Cancers born July 15 plus or minus five days will benefit the most from this eclipse. Also remember that Mercury is Retrograde and that means that we must slow down, but that is the advice till the November 26^th. 

Leo

– actually the love of my life is born under this Sun Sign and I feel very close to it. The Sun rules your sign, and that's why, solar eclipses are especially influential. For you, dear Leos, it’s about home! It’s going to be all about home in all the ways we can think of: buying a house, finding the home of your dreams, parents and your own growing family. A solar eclipse opens new ways and good news about “home”. You may see a breakthrough to solve a home related dilemma that has concerned you. It’s a change of heart, a sudden transformation for the state of affairs of the home. As this eclipse stands in the sky these is a good transformation. You may want a bigger house or you really need a bigger space because your family is bigger now. Slow down now because as you know, we still have Mercury Retrograde at this point and it is not wise to take decisions. Virgo

– it’s about travel here, mister Virgo! The solar eclipse in Scorpio could cause you to travel quite a bit, not only now, but for future months to come. These trips that you are about to take may involve several things and may be very short. You can go to another city, close to your own city to work on a creative project, to complete a negotiation and work on a contract, to take classes, or to see a honey that lives in another city. Please wait with this till Mercury will go direct on the 26^th of November that will be a very good day for you. A solar eclipse initiates a new chapter - it is a start! News and different circumstance change that make you travel more and more. Hope you are ready for news and for travel! This eclipse will set all things in motion, and there will be plenty of room to apply your creativity to the task at hand. Your sister or brother may be on your mind too, now, and you have to help them. 

Eclipse on the 13th of November 2012

Hope everybody is well and feeling the weekend. We have one more week to go till our dear Mercury will find its place and go direct again. This will be the end of a rather hard time.Last week we had this major event in astrology: an eclipse!

Eclipses are tied to changing circumstances and a Total Solar Eclipse occurred on November 13^th at 21 degrees of Scorpio. Its effects can be felt up to six months after the actual date of the eclipse. This eclipse is just the beginning of a series of eclipses that will generate change in the next 2 years. It’s an event that will change state of affairs. The change will come from outside and everybody will feel them in some way.

Major developments and major changes in the areas ruled by Scorpio in our charts are likely to occur over the course of the next 3-6 months. This is the first eclipse in a series falling along the Taurus-Scorpio axis. That means these eclipses will have an impact on the fixed sings (Taurus, Scorpio, Aquarius, Leo).  Please read below how this first eclipse will affect you (if you have a Sun in Aries,Taurus, Gemini).

Aries

– it’s a about money here, mister Aries; money coming from all kinds of sources, money coming from your husband/spouse, parents, different side activities, it’s about money that do not come from work. The total solar eclipse does everything for you … so sit back and relax and enjoy the season. The portfolio that you have is ready to be filled with money. It’s all about your credit card, your mortgage plan, your investment portfolio. The symbols look good and try to see where all these money will come from. This is a time to be very vigilant with what you do with your money and seize opportunity. Remember that eclipses bring events that are important, and they pack the energy of three full moons in one. Also please remember that Mercury is retrograde and this is not a good time to make a decision with great impact on your future. A change in the financial sector is sure to come if not now; it will be here till January 2013.

Taurus

– we have here a very interesting change and I do believe many Taurus are waiting for it. I know some that I am fond of and I am really glad I have good news for you. It’s about relationship here, dear Taurus! A good chance of finding the ONE, of getting married, or just meeting that special person in your life. If you are already married, this will be a very good period of strengthening your relation. If you are just having a relationship, it will initiate a fresh start. It’s about opening your eyes about what you really want in your love life. This has to do with a commitment that you make for yourself in order to let love come by. Most Taurus have a good start if they decide to get married now and dedicate their love to one special person. This eclipse brings news, changes in what we do concerning our love relationship. It can also mean that a good contract can be signed and have a business ready to go live and stronger than ever. Please do remember we are still under Mercury Retrograde and you must wait until the 26^th of November to sign anything.

Gemini

– we have here the busy and happy Gemini. This eclipse will 

 hange something in the work sector for you. Something is new, something must be treated differently and you have to look at all the aspects because we still have Mercury Retrograde. I know that you have been insanely busy in October, but the pace, and the pressure, will continue in November. Well, it’s a good thing because we all know how you enjoy this busyness. As Mercury is your ruling planet, the layers of confusion is thick here and please try to be very organized when it comes to new projects. The November 13 eclipse is occurring in your workaday sector and this suggests that you will see changes in the workplace, with new projects, clients, scheduling and equipment. News are coming your way and be prepared for them. I know this is good news for you because I know how you thrive for change. One of my best friends is a Gemini and she loves change more than anything! The eclipse is just what you need at work these days.

Mercury Retrograde for Libra, Scorpio, Sag, Cap, Aq, Pisces

I am so glad the first hectic week of MercuryRetrograde is over and I am sorry for not posting the other six sings earlier; it was just too much to do. As I have told you, Mercury Retrograde is a period when we need to rethink things and slow down, but in the same time Mercury Retrograde means misunderstanding and it takes a lot of time to put the pieces back together and explain what you really mean. Past week’s lesson for me was: we should all go back and see if what we said was really what the others understood. Good communication is everything nowadays. 

Please read below all of you with the Sun sign in: Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Please see the other six signs in the post "A highway covered with thick fog"

Libra: This Mercury Retrograde period affects you in terms of financial earnings and travel, communication, and siblings. Take extra care of your financial statement, earned income; it is highly possible that payments will be delayed; bills will not be paid in time. Just try to reason with everybody and expect all kinds of explanations from everybody. Also it is possible the meetings will be postponed, clients will often change their mind and you will just have to be there for everybody. It is best to put off signing checks or contracts, read everything carefully because it the worst can happen with a contract at this time. Try to choose your words carefully and read everything twice. If you can, try to rethink clauses in a deal as it is possible you cannot see the real thing just now. Wait till the 26^th of November to see everything with new eyes. Also, please be careful with money spending as it is not a good time to spend or to invest.  And above all, try to communicate as clearly as possible as we all depend of better communication. Scorpio: Mercury goes retrograde in the area of your life that has to do with financial earnings and your true self. Actually it goes retrograde in your own sign and this is not good news for you, dear Scorpio. You should take extra care with earnings, checks, payment. Check everything twice and postpone all things related to money as much as you can. As I told you Mercury retrogrades in your own sign and that means you should take extra care in: communication, expressing yourself, body language, mixed signals. Clear up everything you say and be sure everybody is on the same page as you are. You must go slowly in everything you do and do not make radical changes or try to shift something. You will see at the end of this transit things will become clearer for you. Try to avoid or postpone as much as possible taking decision especially if these affect you in a major way. Sagittarius: Mercury goes retrograde in your own sign in the last period and in the area of your life that has to do with intuition, hidden enemies, spiritual inspiration, cosmic consciousness and enlightenment. At first you will feel that your intuition is not going so well. You are a fire sign and a very quick judge of the human character. At this period of time you must be aware of what your intuition is telling you as it will not be entirely true. It is just what you need to hear. Be patient and try to judge less. Also be aware that there are people around you that are not your friends and you will not be able to spot them at this time. Take time to think before you act although I know it’s hard for you. Please be aware that you will feel this retrograde period more than others as it will affect your 1^st house. One more thing, clear communication is the key now as you will probably be misunderstood.

Capricorn: Mercury goes retrograde in the areas of your life that have to do with hidden enemies, spiritual inspiration, cosmic consciousness, enlightenment and friendships. This time of the year will not affect you very much and you will probably not be forced to stop and think as other sings. You just have to be very careful of the people you trust now. These people that surround you may be the problem that Mercury is creating for you. As this affects the house of the hidden enemies and of the friendships, you must be very aware of who are these people around you, if they need something from you, if they try to discriminate you. As Mercury Retrograde affects everybody and that includes you too in terms of communication; be aware of this in relation to group meetings and arrangements. Also, please be aware of your intuition as it will not be the best time to rely on it.

Aquarius: Mercury goes retrograde in your solar house that has to do with your friendships, acquaintances and career. At first, Mercury will affect us in terms of friendship and we will have a very hard time meeting with friends at this time. It is possible to see old friends or just have old acquaintances around you. Then, the crisis comes when Mercury turns retrograde in our career house. This is why, I, as a true Aquarius, was having so much trouble with everybody at work trying to explain everything a million times. This is what Mercury does to all of us: it affects us in our communication with our peers, bosses, colleagues and almost everybody at work. Try to be calm, explain everything twice and try not to place yourself in the spot light, avoid public speaking and choose your words in a correct manner. Put off making career decisions at this time as they are very unproductive. Avoid singing contracts and think about changing something, but do it after the 26^th of November.

Pisces: Mercury goes retrograde in your solar house that has to do with career and higher learning, universities, professors. At first you have to be very careful with what you will say to your boss and extra care should be used when communicating with co-workers. It is not the best time to make a career decision, not the best time to sign a contract; try just to be aware of this because it’s a bad deal if it is signed on Mercury Retrograde. Try to be as a clear communicator as you have ever been as everything that will be said can turn against you. Use short and clear sentences and avoid all higher communication. Try not to speak to a public and delay as much as you can meetings where you have the most important role. Be flexible, as you usually are and try to go with the flow. As I said, we are all in this together and communication will not go well. What we can do is lower the impact as much as possible.

Mercury Retrograde - a highway covered with thick fog. Read about it if you have the Sun in Aries, Taurus, Gemini,Cancer, Leo, Virgo. Soon I will post the other 6 zodiac sings.

Aries: Mercury goes retrograde in the areas of your life that have to do with education and higher learning and other people finances. Delay is possible when it comes to taking an exam or some loans, taxes. Prepare yourself for a step back if you plan to take a loan now. Try not to make a new investment and do not rely on your loved one for support or money. This is not a time to spend a lot of money; just try to budget and control. Be very careful if you have to speak to professors or lawyers.  In Mercury retrograde periods communication is very low and misinterpretation may always find its place. Taurus: Mercury goes retrograde in the areas of your life that have to do with marriage and other people finances. There might be an issue with revisiting or trying to understand why an old loved has ended. It’s a good time to ask yourself and you must get some answers until the period is over on the 26^th of November. This will be a good time to end a relationship that you had for good. Be careful that this may generate miscommunication with a current partner that is if you found one. There can be some delays if you need to receive loans at this time. Try not to spend money and save them or just try to calculate your savings better. Avoid investments at all costs this time. Plans may shift especially when it comes to a close partner. Gemini: Mercury is your ruling planet and for you things now will just go slower. This retrograde period of Mercury is in your marriage sector and your job sector. Probably an old partner will come to visit and just see how you are. Try to settle down and talk and don’t rejuvenate the love you ones shared. On the 6^th of November, Neptun will also find himself there to make a hard aspect with Mercury and it is vital to not make any announcements on this date. A misunderstanding with your partner and serious damage to your relation is possible this month. At work you will find yourself surrounded by emails, phone calls, appointments of all sorts and delays to each of them. Cancer: Mercury is retrograde this time in your solar houses related to work and creativity. You will feel a little stuck right now, give it a little time because creative energy will come after the retrograde period has ended and that is after the 26^th of November. A romance that started at the Full Moon in Taurus has a few weeks of a setback and because you have so much to do at work, you will postpone this a little.  At work, double check everything you do and every email you sent as this is not a good time for communication. As I said, Mercury Retrograde affects us all in all forms of communication. Try to avoid as much as possible detailed work that you do as this is the time where you can miss some details. Your intuition is perfect and we all know that about you; but at this time and this month don’t trust it so much. Try to review, try to see everything with new eyes especially at work and with your new romance. This is the time to reevaluate and see if things are going in the right direction.

Leo: Mercury will be retrograde in the areas of your life that have to do with creativity and family. Extra care should be exercised when it comes to your family and your children. Avoid signing contracts and avoid all things related to buying or going over real estate at this time. You are probably thinking about this a lot because Saturn entered hour home and family sector, as you remember. This month just take a moment to reevaluate the budget and just calculate again. If you do have a contract in your hand that has to do with selling, buying or renting a house it’s best to have a very good legal look over it. It might have issues and this is the time to find out. It’s also possible to rethink some creative projects that you have. Now you do not have so much inspiration and you just don’t know what is wrong. Blame this all on the Mercury in Retrograde because this is what is does: it slows down and it keeps us not moving forward.

Virgo: Mercury will be retrograde in the area of your life that relates to day to day work and with family. Take extra care and expect delays in writing and receiving emails, legal documents and phone calls. You should feel the pressure that a lot is going on, but actually nothing gets till the end. Or you will just wait for a lot of things to happen on your day to day work. Try to be non judgmental to your family members and try to be patient and wait for better days will come. It’s best to spend this month with detail work and avoid singing contracts and making decisions. Try to reevaluate and reassess what you have pending on your desk this month: even if it is just some important email, a big business contract or a contract for buying or selling a house. 

Mercury Retro and the US Elections

As November 2012 starts we find Mercury Retrograde from the 6^th till the 26^th, so almost all November will be a slowing down month. Mercury will go retrograde in Sagittarius (and later move into Scorpio).

Mercury?

Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun and the eighth largest. In Roman mythology Mercury is the god of commerce, travel and thievery, the Roman counterpart of the Greek god Hermes, the messenger of the Gods. The planet probably received this name because it moves quickly across the sky. Mercury is the planet of communication, negotiation, documents, travel and contractual agreements.

Mercury Retrograde?

Three, and sometimes four, times a year, the planet Mercury appears to be moving backwards in the sky for a period of approximately 3 weeks. Mercury is retrograde from November 6th to 26th, 2012. When Mercury is in retrograde, communication can seem to slow down and decision-making is challenged. It is not advised to sign contracts at this time. This period is best used for re-organizing and reflecting, thinking at what can be done better in a project, in a contract. It is not a good time to start new things; just try to reflect and put everything in order in your life. Rethink the old strategy; consider new ways you can look at the same problem. Slow down and take a deep breath and very important: don’t act and talk too much at this time. After this period is over, your priorities will swing and new conditions will come into action. It would not be wise to shop for expensive holiday gifts this month. Back up files, phone numbers in your cell phone, and keep a close eye on any item that you will feel you are going to lose this month. 

Interesting Fact!

The US Presidential election will take place on the evening of November 6, the very date that Mercury is turning retrograde and that will make this date a heavy one. Mercury retrograde is very strong on the day it goes retro. So, we will see an influence of miscommunication, recounts of votes, broken machines, and legal issues on the deciding day for the US.
