Fire Alarm !

               Learning today to use and appreciate Google Reader - it's quite fantastic considering that you can have all that info in one place. I highly recommend it. So, reading something pretty nice that comes hand in hand with today's post on our most loved FIRE SIGNS ( Leo, Sagittarius and Aries). The article was talking about some studies that reveal what are the results of people working in groups and working on their own. It wrote: “Decades of research show that individuals almost always perform better than groups in both quality and quantity, and group performance gets worse as group size increases." This is perfectly true for the fire signs. They rule, that are powerful, you have to give them respect (as you will see) and they have beauty, strength, goals, they are always about to conquer the world. To be true, they are one of my favorites.

They shine. What is amazing about them is that they can sleep and laze around for periods of times just for their own pleasure. They are loyal and they hold to a situation for a very long time. The same goes for a person. They love with tremendous insight. The Leo can't let go. He is too proud. They are determined and happy when people around see the power in them. 

Tina Turner, she is not here for the "Simply the Best" Song, but because she is a Sagittarius woman. True, shiny and happy, Sagittarius are always on the go and love their freedom more than anything. They have a blind faith in people and in the world itself. They are happy and share this happiness with everybody around them. They have lots of friends and like to travel. They have a quick temper and they can be way to honest.

You may not recognize this woman here, but she is Aretha Franklin, an American singer and songwriter. She has the famous "RESPECT" song that I hope everybody knows and loves as much as I do. She is an Aries Woman. This is the first sign of the zodiac, first in anything; Aries likes competition, works hard to be the first. He is active and energetic. People with this sign usually can't stand still, have some problems sleeping over the night and are always thinking about the next move to come. They are restless. Impatience for them is a definite vice. They are independent both men and women. 

If you are a Leo, Sagittarius, Aries you should be with somebody of your own kind, so Fire is advisable for you and you will also get along with Air Signs (Aquarius, Gemini or Libra). Remember <<To sustain a fire, a ratio of 16% oxygen or greater is needed>>

Earth Signs

We all have a Sun Sign and we all know that because it relates to the date we were born. For example I am born on the 12 Th of February and that makes me a full Aquarius. And there are 12 zodiac signs just like my own. What I found interesting some years ago when I was reading is that these 12 zodiac signs have something in common. So, they group together in a funny and special way. From this grouping comes : compatibility, way of looking at life, way of relating to others and lots of commons between them. 


Air, Water, Earth and Fire - the 4 basic elements of nature. Many philosophers have found these to be classical elements believed to reflect the simplest essential parts and principals of which anything consists of. Plato, the ancient Greek philosopher, said that these elements are pre-socratic and used the terminology of 'element' for the first time. These were the classic elements in Greece. If we look closely we have the same in Egypt from Hippocrates the yellow bile(fire), the black bile(earth),blood (air), phlegm (water).


First of all I am going to discuss the EARTH SIGNS ( Virgo, Taurus, Capricorn). They are the powerful signs that stay down to earth, they judge, they know, they analyze, they go forward, but at they're own pace. They are usually steady and they don't let go. Earth signs develop very interesting relationships with each other and with WATER SIGNS ( Pieces, Cancer, Scorpio). They love a very stable home and usually like being married. 


If you want to know the real truth about a situation you should ask one of them. They will come up with the perfect answer. Now let's meet them and some famous of their own kind.


Virgo people like to analyze deep and almost anything. There is a certain purity that evolves around these people ant that is why sometimes you feel they are a little bit of magic. They are not very comfortable in the limelight, they like to be the one who can conquer the world from the back office. You will be very sure with them and around them because we are here in front of the most responsible zodiac sign. Virgo people are perfectionists and are able to work very hard for what they want.

Taurus people are comfort loving, fixed in their ways, loving, they work very very hard and usually get results from their work. They enjoy a fine meal with friends and like to keep everything cool and nice. They want a piece of land and a house that can be filled with life ( wife and children). They adore to posses things and sometimes people. They stick with their ideas and sometimes can be very stubborn.

Capricorn people know how to get things done, today and very quickly. They need to feel useful and important to the world. They are usually lonely people and reserved. Retro Mars

On January the 23rd Mars will be going retrograde and it will stay like this till April the 13Th.


What is retrograde ? Sometimes planets seem to be going backwards

What will happen? First we need to understand the power of this planet Mars. It is a leader, a force, it can generate war and is prone to a lot of action. If this is the case, when it comes to retro periods, all of the above will not be functioning. So, on the general sense, try not to take action at this time of the year; it is much better to think about what is that you need and have to do in order to obtain what you want. Slow down, introspect, don't act, think twice before you do or say something.

Who is sensitive ? We all are affected by this planet, but there are some of us that can feel this particular transit more : Aries and Scorpio.

Aries : Mars retro will be affected on the personal level as Mars is their ruling planet.Pushing yourself during this Mars retrograde cycle will only lead to slowdowns. It's time to review how you have been handling yourself in terms of self-assertion and expression of anger. So, this is a good time to think it over.

Taurus : Intuition and spiritual matters,these is where you need to focus because Mars rules these areas of your life. Try not to rely on your intuition, especially when it comes to other people. You will not be a good judge of the people around you.

Gemini : Mars rules friendship, group associations, networking. You can have some setbacks in this areas of your life. Postpone, if you can, going to group meetings and just be aware of the place you have for yourself there.

The Year of the Dragon

As per the Chinese Zodiac, the coming year of 2012 is Year of Dragon that would commence on 23rd January 2012 and go on till 9th February, 2013. The 5th sign of the Chinese Zodiac happens to be the Dragon, consisting of twelve Animal signs. Dragon is the creature of legend and myth. In the early China, power and emperor was represented by the celestial Dragon. At present the Dragon signifies happiness and success. Hence it can be expected that the 2012 Year of Dragon would be a happy and joyful one especially for the Dragon people. It is also believed that the Dragon Year 2012 would bring for all of us good luck and charm.
